So long 2016 and hello to 2017!! 
We had another great year here at Mountain Beauty & Esthetic Supply and we wanted to thank all our wonderful customers, suppliers, dedicated staff, and the Concession Street BIA community.  We met so many new customers this past year and hope to introduce many more to the "Shop Small" and "Shop Local" experience that we foster at our little store!  We don't just sell the products but we aim to educate as well, and always within a friendly atmosphere.
Concession Street had some wonderful community events on the street in 2016 like the Sidewalk Sounds, Streetfest, as well as the Fallfest, Winter Solstice, and NOSH week on Concession!

The hair salon we all know and love today actually was due to the entrepreneurial spirit of a Canadian woman named Martha Matilda Harper born in Ontario Canada in 1857.  She had spent most of her youth in servitude and after working for a German Holistic Doctor she became an advocate of natural hair care. During a time when most people either didn't wash their hair or used harsh soaps and had their hair done at home by servants, Harper would go on to create a franchise of "Hair Salons" and her services offered were known as the Harper Method.  Her followers... "Harperites"!
